Children and Grief

Circle of Life believes:

  • Grief is a natural reaction to death for children, as well as adults.
  • Within each individual is the natural capacity to heal.

All children regardless of their age are able to grieve. Circle of Life is committed to helping children and their families cope with loss. We can help children through family consultations, classroom visits and dedicated support groups for kids.

Creative Expressive Art Workshop

Individual grief counseling for children and teens is ongoing. However, space is limited and pre-registration is required. For more information and for our current schedule, or call 479-872-3326.

Circle of Life is proud to announce the release of two books written by Diya LeDuc, LCSW and Mary Ellen Boucher, LMSW, which focus on anticipatory grief and grief following a loss. The books are available free of charge to our community.
